Privacy policy
The short version: we store what the games need, nothing more — no ads, no trackers, no selling data.
What we store
You can play every game on RerollGames without an account — in that case nothing about you is stored on our servers at all. Your device keeps a little local data (things like "has seen the tutorial" and which heist synergies you've discovered) in your browser's own storage, and it never leaves your browser.
If you create an account, we store:
- Your username and email address. The email is only used as a login id and — where enabled — for password resets. No newsletters, no marketing.
- A salted hash of your password. We never store the password itself and cannot read it.
- Your play data: scores and runs on leaderboards, play history, achievements, discovered synergies, RollPoints balance, and any cosmetics you've unlocked or equipped.
- A session cookie (
sa_session) that keeps you logged in for up to 30 days. It's an httpOnly random token — it identifies your session and nothing else. This is the only cookie we set.
What we don't do
- No advertising, ad networks, or cross-site tracking.
- No tracking cookies, no fingerprinting, and no profiles built about you.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of your data with anyone.
Analytics
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and see which games are popular. It's privacy-friendly and aggregate: it sets no cookies, doesn't fingerprint your device, doesn't follow you across sites, and doesn't build a profile of you — it just tallies visits.
Where it lives
The site is hosted on Vercel and account data is stored with Upstash (a managed database). Both act as infrastructure providers processing data on our behalf; standard server logs (IP addresses, request timing) may be kept briefly by the hosting platform for security and reliability.
Shared results
When you press "Share" on a result, that result (the crew, the score, the story — not your account details) is stored on our servers so the link works for whoever you send it to. Anyone with the link can see it.
Leaderboards are public
Posting a score puts your username on a public leaderboard. Deleting your account removes your entries.
Deleting your data
Go to account settings → delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything attached to it: profile, play history, achievements, RollPoints, cosmetics, and your leaderboard entries. There is no soft-delete or retention window — it's gone.
